Gifts and Pricing

Need unique Christmas gifts? Why not a pet monster (or monkey). I am taking orders of all kinds. I can meet almost any requirement and do special requests. (My little "brother" Max has requested a rhino.)

My regular small sized monsters and monkeys are going for $3.00 a piece.

Fish bowls include handmade scenary and a larger scale monster: $20.00

Large size monster (Big Guy) are $10.00

I am constantly experimenting with new ideas and will post them as they become available.

Remember! I can make things to order other than monkeys and monsters. At Baltimore I made a Steelers My Little Pony.

Monsters!

Here's a close up on my monsters. My favorites are the little guys with horns. They make me giggle. All these are all based on Jerry Carr's artwork. They were also ALL sold at the Baltimore Comic Con.

Big Guy

This big guy was made to hold the price tag in his mouth when I was at Baltimore. Business went so well I actually sold him the first day! He was much larger than the others, standing about 6 inches high (while the others are under 2).

Monkeys!

Here's a better picture of my monkeys. Aren't they cute?? My favorite is the fat and happy
one in the middle.

Fish Bowls

What's better than a pet who won't eat the furniture and never needs to be cleaned up after? Bring home a pet monster in his own home! Just don't feed them after midnight....
I made these first 3 using glass bowls from Micheal's with sand for the bottom. The plants are also made out of sculpty. I've begun experimenting with other supplies, such as gravel, moss and fake plants. I'll post updates when I have some pictures.

Baltimore Comic Con!

This weekend was my art debut at the Baltimore Comic Con and I was completely blown away by people's responses to my monsters! I nearly sold out in the first day, and ended up selling several commissioned unbaked sculptures the second day. I've come away with new ideas and can't wait to rebuild my stock! Thanks to everyone who gave my creatures a home. And a very special thanks to the wonderfully talented men in Bad Monkey Brain Studios (Jerry Carr, Rand Arrington and Brian Maze) for letting me travel with them and camp out at their tables.

Welcome!

Thanks to the encouragement of my friends at Bad Monkey Brain I am finally posting my art online! Yay for me!

The monkeys and monsters theme was inspired by Jerry Carr's art work. So far kids seem to get a kick out of them which is good enough for me!

This blog would not have been possible without the extreme talents of my photographers and (monster namers) Max, Alex and Erin.

Enjoy!
